DOCTORENT is an initiative launched by the law firm Lex4u. The firm observed that many property owners in Belgium often hesitate to take action regarding rental arrears (rent, charges, or other dues) due to the sometimes complex process of initiating legal proceedings, which always fall under the jurisdiction of the Justice of the Peace in the area where the property is located.
In collaboration with LAWSTUD.IO, another company partnered with Lex4u Digital, Lex4u has developed a simple and intuitive platform that allows property owners to recover their rental arrears almost free of charge.
Through a dynamic form created in partnership with PENBOX, all necessary information is collected directly and, with the help of artificial intelligence, injected into various templates used by the firm (e.g., demand letters, claims, etc.).
Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence and automation, the process of recovering rental payments is significantly simplified and accelerated.
